Volleyball Game Preview: Assumption Royals vs. Edgar Wildcats

The Assumption Royals will head out to take on the Edgar Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Assumption has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 6.

Assumption came up short against Marathon on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-2.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Edgar duked it out with Prairie Farm on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0.

Edgar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Assumption, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.

Assumption might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Edgar when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Royals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
