It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midway can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Clay County Bulldogs and fell 52-21. The Green Wave's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Lincoln Reed threw for 26 yards and one touchdown. Rowynn McClure was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Tate Mason rushed for 74 yards and a pair of scores.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Clay County, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.
