Meanwhile, Walthill narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past East Butler 50-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blujays.

Walthill's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Omaha Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
