Lebo has gone 8-2 against Waverly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Both will meet in a canine-themed contest at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lebo is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Olpe just ended the team's three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They lost 64-39 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Waverly was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Madison an easy 54-31 win. While losing is never fun, Waverly can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Madison is ranked 92nd).

Lebo now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Waverly, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Lebo's way against Waverly in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Lebo made off with a 59-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lebo since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
