Gio Rivera put up the most hits he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Rich Township: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 8-11 otherwise.

Rivera's strong effort led Rich Township over Thornton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raptors are 9-1 against the Wildcats going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
