Volleyball Recap: Sonoma Valley Comes Up Short

Sonoma Valley lost against American Canyon on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-15, 25-17.

American Canyon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aaron Regacho out in front who had 18 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Regacho has posted over his last six matches.

Sonoma Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for American Canyon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Sonoma Valley has already played their next game (against Rancho Cotate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for American Canyon, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Analy on the 29th.
