Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Rams vs. Platte Canyon Huskies
Sheridan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Platte Canyon Huskies. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Huskies when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
While Sheridan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Platte Canyon's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-7, 25-12.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Platte Canyon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Martinez, who had five aces and one assist. That's the most aces Martinez has posted over her last four matches.
