Volleyball Recap: Monument Mountain Comes Up Short

If Monument Mountain was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of John J. Duggan Academy on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Lee Wildcats on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Monument Mountain's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lee, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monument Mountain will host Mount Everett Regional at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Lee, they will square off against Southwick Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
