Softball Recap: Blacksher Bulldogs vs. Excel Panthers

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Blacksher and Excel meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Blacksher Bulldogs skirted past the Excel Panthers 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Panthers since February 23, 2024.

Anna Grace Hollinger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
