Meanwhile, McKinley Tech had to suffer through a 57-20 loss at the hands of Eastern.

Dunbar's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for McKinley Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Dunbar against McKinley Tech in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-18 victory. Will Dunbar repeat their success, or does McKinley Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
