Softball Recap: Triway Starts Season with Win Against Fairless

Triway had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Fairless Falcons by a score of 14-9 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kenzie Gatti was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Hochstetler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Triway was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairless only posted a batting average of .250.

Triway will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fairless: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
