Volleyball Recap: Santee Comes Up Short

Santee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the West Adams Panthers. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Santee actually scored more points across those four sets (90-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 12-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Santee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for West Adams, their win ended a nine-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

Coincidentally, Santee and West Adams will both be playing Dr. Maya Angelou Community the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Phoenix at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
