Basketball Recap: Crenshaw Takes a Loss

Crenshaw's tournament run continued when they took on Northridge Academy on Friday. The Crenshaw Cougars opened the new year with a less-than-successful 40-33 defeat to the Northridge Academy Pumas.

Crenshaw has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Northridge Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crenshaw will venture away from home to take on GALA at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northridge Academy, they will head out to face off against Sherman Oaks CES at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
