Tomball Memorial's and Klein Collins's matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but Tomball Memorial turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. The Tomball Memorial Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand the Klein Collins Tigers a 4-0 shutout. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Tomball Memorial's third in a row) raised their record to 11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Klein Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tomball Memorial take on the Tomball at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Tomball's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Tomball Memorial's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Klein Collins, they will welcome Magnolia at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
