Baseball Recap: University Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fairfax on Wednesday, University came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Palisades Dolphins on Monday, falling 12-5. The Wildcats have struggled against the Dolphins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

University's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Palisades, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

University will take on Hamilton at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Yankees at the right time seeing as the Yankees are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Palisades, they will be playing at home against Los Angeles CES at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dolphins are on a seven-game streak of home wins, the Unicorns a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
