Basketball Recap: Bothell Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bothell had won two straight games and Charlotte Lipkin did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Bothell Cougars took their game with ease, bagging a 66-20 victory over the Hazen Highlanders thanks in part to Lipkin, who shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was her ninth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Stroup, who posted five points and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Bothell pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hazen, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bothell will head out to face off against Mercer Island at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bothell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season. Hazen has already played their next game (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
