While Mt. Vernon didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies by a score of 48-39 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 68-33 loss the last time these two teams met.
