Volleyball Recap: Columbine's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Columbine's tournament run continued when they took on Argyle on Friday. The Rebels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The loss put an end to the Rebels' undefeated start to the season.

Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up six kills. Screaton got some help from Maddie Lynett and her 14 assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Columbine fell to 4-1. As for Argyle, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Columbine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against American Heritage on the 29th. As for Argyle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Brook Hill on the 29th.
