Basketball Recap: Sheehan Takes a Loss

Sheehan lost against West Haven back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sheehan Titans lost to the West Haven Blue Devils on the road by a 66-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 17th).

This is the second loss in a row for Sheehan and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for West Haven, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Haven beat Sheehan by a score of 66-49 on Tuesday.
