The Crockett County Cavaliers will square off against the Jackson South Side Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crockett County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.8 points per game this season.

Crockett County lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Chester County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Cavaliers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Eagles 41-7. With the Cavaliers ahead 27-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Dk Woods was his usual excellent self, rushing for 199 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per carry.

Woods was just one part of a punishing run game: Crockett County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 398 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Meanwhile, Jackson South Side suffered their biggest loss since October 25, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by Dyer County 63-14.

Crockett County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points over those games. As for Jackson South Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Crockett County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Jackson South Side when the teams last played back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 19-13 victory.
