Volleyball Recap: Loma Linda Academy Comes Up Short

Loma Linda Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Western Christian Fighting Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Roadrunners of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 19-25, 25-11.

Loma Linda Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Western Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Loma Linda Academy and Western Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Roadrunners (ranked 342nd) will meet Indian Springs (ranked 889th) at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Western Christian will challenge Southlands Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (201 vs. 510).
