Central York waltzed into their matchup on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the William Penn Bearcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Central York got a massive performance out of Logan Craiger, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Craiger has posted since back in April of 2024. Alli Raynes was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Central York was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in eight consecutive contests.

Central York's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for William Penn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central York will take on Northeastern at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for William Penn, they will square off against Red Lion at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
