Volleyball Recap: Union Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Union Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the East Burke Cavaliers by a score of 3-1.

Union Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-17.

Dhruv Srinivasan paced Union Academy's offense, picking up 22 kills. Srinivasan got some help from Carter Zorn and his 30 assists. Max Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
