Basketball Game Preview: Trenton Tigers vs. North Shore Wildcats

Trenton has gone 10-0 against North Shore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Trenton Tigers face off against the North Shore Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trenton lost 62-38 to Kenmare/Bowbells on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Kenmare/Bowbells are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, North Shore had to suffer through a 69-36 loss at the hands of New Town.

North Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Trenton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Everything came up roses for Trenton against North Shore in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 67-14 victory. Does Trenton have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Shore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
