After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southampton Academy, Broadwater Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Fuqua Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 30-13. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Cohen Kellam threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. Eli Destro was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Aidan Fuller rushed for 194 yards and three TDs on only nine carries.

Broadwater Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fuqua, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broadwater Academy will welcome Randolph-Macon Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fuqua, they will host Kenston Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
