It was a good run, but Liberty Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 5-3 to the McGavock Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Liberty Creek of the 10-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

They hit McGavock with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Socha, Mason Campbell, and Greyson Woodard.

Liberty Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for McGavock, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Creek will face off against East Robertson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McGavock, they will welcome Cane Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cane Ridge's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
