Softball Recap: Trinity Wins Going Away Against Onalaska

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity duked it out with Onalaska on Monday. Trinity was the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Onalaska. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Trinity and bumps their season record up to 5-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Onalaska, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will host Anderson-Shiro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Onalaska, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onalaska is facing Crockett at the right time seeing as Crockett is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
