Umatilla put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Stanfield/Echo Tigers. Umatilla's winning goal came courtesy of Ava Montiel.

Umatilla's victory bumped their record up to 6-0-2. As for Stanfield/Echo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-2.

Umatilla and Stanfield/Echo should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Vikings will face off against Pendleton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (42 vs. 126). Meanwhile, Stanfield/Echo (ranked 35th) will meet Trout Lake (ranked 99th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
