Basketball Game Preview: Gilmer County Titans vs. Cameron Dragons

Having just played yesterday, the Gilmer County Titans will jump right back in to play the Cameron Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gilmer County comes in on three and Cameron on 12.

Gilmer County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Notre Dame 67-26. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cameron was able to grind out a solid win over Pendleton County on Thursday, taking the game 53-44.

Cameron's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Gilmer County, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Gilmer County couldn't quite get it done against Cameron in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 50-43. Can Gilmer County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
