Volleyball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century was the 2-0 winner over Mounds View when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Mustangs on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Century saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emma Greene had ten digs and two assists.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Mounds View, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Century will be playing at home against Faribault at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mounds View, they will head out on the road to challenge East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
