Heritage won the last time they faced Wakefield and Ryder Strand did his part to make sure it happened again. The Huskies strolled past the Wolverines with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 82-66 with plenty of help from Strand, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 19 boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 41.2% three-point shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Hargett, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 18 points and eight assists. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Wakefield lost, don't look at Avery Hicks. Despite the final result, he shot 47% from the field en route to 23 points and seven rebounds. Hicks' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Wisler, who posted 12 points in addition to eight assists and five boards.

The victory got Heritage back to even at 3-3. As for Wakefield, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Heritage has already played their next contest, an 85-60 defeat against Rolesville on the 5th. As for Wakefield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-62 win against Wake Prep Academy on the 6th.
