Manhattan waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Topeka Trojans with a sharp 12-2 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Manhattan's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-2. As for Topeka, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-4.

Coming up, Manhattan will take on Washburn Rural on Wednesday. Topeka will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' game: after the Indians face off against the Blues, they'll take on Topeka again on Thursday.
