Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was the 71-59 winner over Raymond when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Arrows took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers on Friday.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Raymond, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Clinton will venture away from home to square off against Edwards at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Raymond, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Leake County at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
