AIM Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on Delaware Valley Friends at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. AIM Academy will be strutting in after a win while Delaware Valley Friends will be coming in after a loss.
AIM Academy was handed a two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kimberton Waldorf on Thursday. AIM Academy took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 57-30 win over Kimberton Waldorf.
Delaware Valley Friends suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 57-33 defeat at the hands of Mercy Career & Technical. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Delaware Valley Friends has scored all season.
The losing side was boosted by Alec George, who scored 12 points along with four steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Brandon Thomas, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
AIM Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Delaware Valley Friends, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
AIM Academy couldn't quite finish off Delaware Valley Friends when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 53-51. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of George, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds.
