The Jefferson West Tigers made easy work of the Hiawatha Red Hawks on Monday and carried off an 11-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Addison Garrett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Garrett was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-5.

In other pitching news, Addison Schwinn looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.

Back at the plate, Emmie Dean was a standout: she scored two runs while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Megan Malone, who went 1-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Jefferson West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hiawatha only posted a batting average of .258.
