Volleyball Recap: Russellville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Russellville waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the New Bloomfield Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Russellville was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-12.

Jaden Jenkins paced Russellville's offense, picking up 15 kills. Jenkins got some help from Addie Brizendine and her 34 assists. Jenkins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Russellville's victory bumped their record up to 16-6-1. As for New Bloomfield, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-17-1.

Looking ahead, Russellville will face off against Bunceton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Bloomfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Chamois at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
