Basketball Recap: Hidden Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hidden Valley can now relate to. They came up short against the Northside Vikings on Friday, falling 78-55. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Vikings are ranked 23rd).

Hidden Valley now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Northside, they pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their 28th straight at home dating back to last season.

Hidden Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northside, they will square off against Carroll County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
