Baseball Recap: Byron Comes Up Short

Byron was the 6-3 winner over Winona when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Saturday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Byron's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Winona, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Byron will challenge Lourdes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Winona, they have already played their next game, a 15-12 loss against John Marshall on the 4th.
