Havre came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Laurel Locomotives as they made off with a 68-48 victory. Given the Blue Ponies' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth in Montana, while the Locomotives are ranked 52nd in Montana), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Havre's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Laurel, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Havre nor Laurel have any future games scheduled.
