Basketball Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan and Scotland County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Milan had to settle for second. They were dealt a 69-30 loss at the hands of the Scotland County Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the loss, Milan still got an impressive performance from Keaton T Weter, who went 5-for-12 en route to 13 points. Caleb Pearce also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Scotland County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-14.

Milan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scotland County, they have already played their next game, a 67-59 defeat against Canton on the 26th.
