Softball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian fell victim to Clare and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 11-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Clare, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 26-1.

Meridian has already played their next matchup (against Freeland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Clare, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-3 victory against Greenville on the 17th.
