Softball Recap: Titusville Takes a Loss

Titusville fell victim to McDowell and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 back in April.

Titusville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for McDowell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Titusville will challenge Fort LeBoeuf at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bison's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for McDowell, they will face off against General McLane at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
