Basketball Recap: Poteau Comes Up Short

Poteau lost to Stilwell back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates had to suffer through a 66-39 loss at the hands of the Indians.

Poteau's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Stilwell, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Poteau is set to square off against their familiar foe Roland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stilwell will face off against rival Sallisaw at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
