Baseball Recap: Foresthill Takes a Loss

Foresthill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Valley Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 on Friday.

Foresthill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Silveira, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Foresthill's record is now 3-7. As for Valley Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foresthill will face off against El Dorado at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Christian, they will square off against Buckingham Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
