Football Recap: Palmdale Takes a Loss

Palmdale fell victim to Leuzinger and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Olympians 61-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Olympians are ranked 43rd).

Joshua Suarez threw for 66 yards on ten of 31 attempts. Zason Walker was his top target, picking up 64 receiving yards.

Palmdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Leuzinger, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmdale will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Leuzinger, they will be playing at home against Bishop Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
