Recap: Broomfield Eagles vs. Prairie View Thunderhawks
In what's become a running theme this season, the Broomfield Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 63-32 win over Prairie View at home. Winning may never get old, but Broomfield sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Broomfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ej Harper, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Harper pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Olivia Kim, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Broomfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Prairie View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broomfield will square off against Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Broomfield's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. As for Prairie View, they will head out on the road to face off against Boulder at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Colorado (Prairie View is ranked 138th, while Boulder is ranked 151st).
