Softball Recap: Escondido Cougars vs. Valley Center Jaguars
Escondido was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Valley Center Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 11-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Kendall Workman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits.
