Basketball Recap: Ann Sobrato Takes a Loss

Ann Sobrato was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 49-42 to the Live Oak Acorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Acorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-53 back in January.

Live Oak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devon DeHaro, who posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave DeHaro a new career-high in points. Nathan Lozano was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds.

Ann Sobrato's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Live Oak, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Looking ahead, Ann Sobrato is taking a road trip to square off against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Live Oak, they will host Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Live Oak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.
