Volleyball Game Preview: Tilden Blue Devils vs. Hancock Eagles

The Tilden Blue Devils will head out to square off against the Hancock Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, it was close, but Tilden sidestepped Simeon for a 2-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Tilden had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Hancock had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sun Warriors.

Hancock never let Solorio on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 27-25.

Hancock's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Tilden, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
