Tomball Memorial is 9-1 against Klein since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tomball Memorial Wildcats will square off against the Klein Bearkats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Tomball Memorial strolled past Magnolia West with points to spare, taking the game 58-40. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Mustangs are ranked 822nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Klein Oak typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Klein proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 39-33 W over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bearkats.

Klein's record now sits at 25-8. As for Tomball Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

Tomball Memorial didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Klein in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 38-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tomball Memorial since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
